Esau Jenkins Village Waitlist 62 years & older 2 – Bedrooms

Due to technical difficulties on July 16, 2026, the Housing Authority of the City of Charleston is announcing an opportunity for individuals aged 62 and older to submit preliminary applications for

Esau Jenkins Village ONLINE. Available units include two (2) bedroom units. The application window will open on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

To apply, visit www.chacity.org or http://housing.chacity.org and fill out the online application within the specified timeframe. Please note that applications submitted by mail, fax, or email will not be accepted. You can conveniently complete your application using a cell phone, tablet, or computer with internet or Wi-Fi access.

If you are a person who is unable to complete an online application due to a physical or mental impairment, such as blindness or amputation (HANDS), etc., please call the Housing Authority of the City of Charleston on Monday, September 21, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM for a phone screening (ONLY) for a reasonable accommodation at (843) 377-1818.

If you qualify for a reasonable accommodation, you will be given an appointment to complete the application on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. If you do NOT qualify for a reasonable accommodation, you will need to complete the waitlist application online on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
