The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston (CHA) will hold its upcoming Board Meeting on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 5:30 PM.

Residents, community members, and interested parties are encouraged to stay informed and engaged with CHA as we continue working to strengthen our communities and create a better future for our residents.
Effective with the September 28, 2026, Board of Commissioners Meeting, the Housing Authority of the City of Charleston will move the Citizens’ Participation Period from its previous position following New Business to an earlier position, immediately before Internal Reports.
This change is intended to provide citizens with an opportunity to voice their concerns earlier in the meeting, reducing the need to wait through the entire agenda.
Please note that the Citizens’ Participation Period is not a question-and-answer session. It is an opportunity for citizens to bring issues and concerns to the attention of the Board of Commissioners.
